I loved that it was a smaller school. There are about 550 students in the entire high school, so a little over a hundred kids per grade. Bullock Creek really connects with its students and its staff is AMAZING. They really care about you, not just that you come to class.
Overall Bullock Creek is a good school to attend. Academics could be improved with only two honor math classes, three honor English classes, and two ap classes (Calculus and Biology). The teachers are great most are willing to work with students. There isn't a lot of Clubs or after school activities, but I'm sure people can find something they're interested in.
It is a smaller school with less students so the teachers take extra time to help the students who really need it.
Not the best school in the city. More focus is given to sports than academics and other areas of interest. Staff is poorly equipped to help students prepare for college.
I love the tight knit community and fun teachers! The staff and teachers truly put the student body's needs at a top priority, and are constantly making themselves better.
Bullock creek is a great high school. The teachers really care about their students. The school is small and the a little outdated, but it makes up for it with great staff.
During my years at Bullock Creek High School I enjoyed how everyone was treated like family however I would like to see the teaching staff improve on new ways to teach the class with the outside world changing every day
Bullock Creek is a small nice high school. There is not a lot of advance classes and students have to go another school to find them. Could not co-op and dual enroll senior year which was a bummer. Advising needs help.
Bullock Creek is a great school and things run smoothly for the most part. Sports are pretty much the king here, though band and robotics also get a lot of attention and have better community support than a lot of other schools. The community is nice but lacks diversity and the academics can be underwhelming.
Bullock Creek High School is a nice, small school where everyone knows eachother and are friendly. I like all of my teachers and classes. The school offers many extracurricular activities and I am a member of the Robotics team. One thing that I would change is the number of AP classes available to take on campus. Overall, I really like my school and would send my children there if I were a parent.
A lot of people like to compliment Bullock Creek on its "community", and they aren't wrong. Bullock Creek has a pretty decent community that tends to stick together at the atmosphere is okay here. However, it isn't all that different than nearby schools. The academic opportunity here is embarrassing, and in no way would someone be ready for college by taking the most advanced courses offered. The lack of selection is disappointing as a student.
I liked the small environment of Bullock Creek High School because everyone knows each other. I hope in the following years students will be offered more AP classes and a chance for accelerated classes that count toward GPA.
There are a few extracurricular activities but they are limited
The teachers are very responsive to the needs of students
for the most parts Most of my teachers are encouraging to get good grades for future endeavors. It really has a great art Teacher who is neat and open mind and touches all types of students even if they are not art minded.
Students party, bully each other, have no respect, and there is no school nurse.....
They say they have no tolerance for bullying but the only way for anything to happen is to take matters into your own hands. There are often fights in the hallways. There lunches are short. They put an emphasis on the athletes that are sponsored by the school. Except for a few teachers, lunch ladies and the kind janitors, I would not have liked my time at Bullock Creek at all.
