I am grateful for attending Building 21 and connecting with the people. Building 21 has a few opportunities such as internships and dual enrollment classes. However, Building 21 has a lot of work to do when it comes to discipline. I have missed out on a lot of education because of lack of discipline. In addition, some teachers were very unorganized with the curriculum. I hope that Building 21 can fix this issue for future students. Other than that I enjoyed my time at B21; although, some times were better than other. I really appreciate being exposed to new opportunities while being at B21.
Had a bunch of flaws and issues. School ended up not being interesting or fun or motivational anymore. Just got boring.
All teachers and staff were over the top with being supportive. My first day attending Building 21 I felt like I’ve been there since 9th grade. Everybody was so nice and supportive, especially with me coming from homeschool
I came for my senior year and from my first day I was welcomed by warm faces. From that day forward I was challenged academically, increased my critical thinking skills, and they even let me run a small business in the business. One I remember them strategically doing holding seniors accountable for our wants and they did so by laying out what they need from us for them help is organize fun. I love Building 21 and 9f I could, I'd stay.
Building 21 welcome me with open arms in 2017-18 school year when I transferred from Philadelphia Electrical & Technology CHS as a weak junior. I really love Building 21 as a whole. Best decision I ever made.
Pretty cool school, plenty of resources. The different type of grading system we have is not easy to adapt to at all though. My favorite thing about the school is the teachers, they are cool and understanding it's just the curriculum that I'm not a fan of. The school is also huge on career and college readiness.
I liked that building 21 gave us hope and actually showed they cared about their students. I would like to see that building 21 has better appearance and less violence.
The school has problems with focusing on important things, and can’t get students excited enough to want to come to school. Low attendance, low behavior, and low respect
Building 21 is a project-based school. You learn things of your interest like, drama, music, art, entrepuernership, and many other things. I got to experience many different activities in the form of pathways, which we choose at the beginning of each school year. Building 21 has many teachers who are passionate about their jobs. As well as, tecahers who go out their way to ensure comfort and safety in the students. We have all build loving relationships with each other. I am proud to say I am a future graduate of Building 21.
Building 21 is a fine school where any student from different color can join in as a family, teachers and staff members treats us well and we respect them.
The things That I like about Building 21 is That they make you feel like you are apart of a big caring family.
I like how building21 is a school based on projects and based on classes you want to take for when your down high school. I also enjoy they way the school community is set up.
To sum it up, it is a school that offers a lot of opportunities to its students. While offering your typical core classes, there are many career pathway options to choose from, from STEM to Culinary to Band. If there is a particular career that a student is interested in, all they have to do is consult the Career Pathway Manager to find some sort of program or internship to suit the student's desire.
