Buhach Colony High School is one of the best schools in the MUHSD. My experience there was great. The AP classes provided at buhach are really helpful and they really do prepare you for college. The only downside of Buhach is that not that many students like participating in certain events. The students there don’t have any spirit and teachers don’t really push them to get involved. Academically the school is great! Teachers answer questions to the best of there abilities and they prepare you for college. The math teachers there also provide tutoring for the people who need it.

In my 2 years within Buhach Colony High school, I have enjoyed every day and have had such a great experience within the school. What I like about Buhach Colony is that majority of the staff and students are respectful and nice; if you have a question or are confused about something, the counselors and staff would gladly help you, and there are few scenarios about students being rude or misbehaving in a class or towards someone. Something that I would like to see or change about Buhach Colony High School is the few amount of classes that are given to the students. I feel that having 7 classes is not enough for students to finish their credits. In my opinion, I feel as though we should have 8 classes/periods; your four core classes, which are math, English, science, and social studies. Since most high schools require a physical class, P.E would be students' fifth class unless they are taking band or athletics. The last three classes would be the electives students want to take.
I liked most of the teachers that I had classes with. Many of them are friendly and welcoming. Furthermore, most of them know what they are teaching and know how to pass down information from them to their students. Things that I would like to see changed here are policies such as the "closed campus policy" which forces students to enter the campus through just two entry points. Furthermore, the fact that student parking was placed solely near the pool area wasn't so great. I lived closer to the other parking lot, and my first period class is also near that parking spot. Furthermore, it would be better if the educational requirements were more focused on preparing students for college and the adult life.
