Buckeye Online School for Success Reviews
My experience at Buckeye Online so far has been amazing, the webpage itself is easy to follow and use. The teachers are the best of the best and are always helpful whenever guidance is needed. They keep in contact with you to ensure you are on track to do well in all of your classes. And while you learn to have a great education, you also gain experience with computer software like WordDoc and Powerpoint. Therefore you gain needed skills for after you graduate High school and skills that you can use to impress future employers. I find this school to be perfect and always adjusting with the times and there is nothing that I would change. It is a amazing school and keeps students from having to deal with the bad influences one may find in normal public schools.
Buckeye Online School for Success was my choice of online schooling to accomodate for my busy schedule while receiving the education I need. While I will readily admit my time with the curriculum had its ups and downs, it was luckily an overall positive experience. The ability to choose how I receive my learning has always been convenient for my family's busy schedule. We had the choose between virtual classes and independent learning classes depending on what works for our day-to-day schedule. In either class type, we received understandable resources and textbooks that make all assignments easy to complete. Most of the teachers are all patient and understanding and explain each lesson thoroughly. While BOSS does not offer my major of art or animation, the school has successfully given me all that I need to learn for all other courses of study that will allow me to easily advance into a college curriculum.
I enjoy the time sensible aspect of BOSS. The opportunity to work at my own pace while still having deadlines to meet worked very well in the business of everyday life. The teachers, in my experience, are understanding and nice. My one problem with BOSS is how confusing navigating their Canvas was at first. I had never used Canvas and BOSS did not haveven a very good way to teach students how to use Canvas. A month or so before my first year at BOSS started I was sent a packet detailing how to set up my BOSS account and (I assume) how to navigate Canvas. However I was unable to log on to Canvas until the first day of school so by that time I had forgotten 1) how to navigate every aspect of Canvas and 2) that I had been even sent instructions on how to presumably work it. It just would have been helpful if there was a recorded walk through that students could always access that would show you how to navigate Canvas. Especially the portion on turning assignments in.
