I like Buchanan High School because the AP/Honors teachers (after you pass Sophomore year) are understanding and are genuinely great human beings. I have found my best friends at this school, there's a place for everyone!

Buchanan High School is full of life and energy! There are many activities going on all the time and the teachers there aren’t bad at teaching the curriculum. Safety is priority and bullying is non-existent. Though the cafeteria food isn’t as good, I’d still recommend bringing your child to this school.
Buchanan High School from afar away looks really nice. The academics are great and most students graduate from here and attend college. Resources are plentiful here; you can almost do about everything and anything you want. There are two types of teachers: the ones who teach really well and has a high success rate or the ones that give busy work and hope that students are smart enough to figure it out themselves. Unfortunately, I have ran across many of teachers like the latter, but the good ones make up for it. The diversity here isn't great but it isn't too bad either. I come across many people of different races, beliefs, and cultures. Although I do think Buchanan is bias towards certain races. For example, a Caucasian, suburban, blonde girl can get away with almost anything while a yellow-skinned, small eyed girl has limited rules. I'm not saying Buchanan High is full of racists administrators but they could learn how to respect different races.
