Bryan high school is the average typical high school. However, there are faults that comes when regarding their education techniques. For example, when taking AP classes teachers often reiterate the phrase "if you can't handle this then college is not for you" and others similar. The entire purpose of school is to educate students and help pave the way to a financially successful life. Even though we are becoming young adults we are still very impressionable. Having these words constantly repeated to us does not help us prepare for future situations. As the saying goes "if you hear something often enough you begin to believe it". The students hear this often enough and by the time senior year roles around some do not even execute the effort to apply to colleges because they have the mentality that college is not for them.

The education level is excellent and offers AP, Dual, and IB courses. The school education isn't the only thing that is thrives ,but also the school's teams do as well. This year Bryan High School moved up a division meaning the school gets to compete against the most competitive schools this year. The school's fine arts department is also a great addition to the school. This past year Bryan High's choir participated in the TEMA convention making history of being the first school in the Bryan- College Station area to participate in the convention as a guest choir. Overall the school is a great recommendation for those who are looking for school in the Bryan - College Station area whether you're looking for a school based on sports, education, or just the arts.
Bryan High School was the school I never wanted to go to. My whole middle school year, all I heard was about how bad of a school it was. I can confidently say that all these rumors were wrong. While Bryan wasn't my first choice for my highs school, I'm glad its where I ended up going. The teachers went above and beyond to help me in anyway that I needed. I often saw them as more than just teachers, they were also my friends. After four proud years at Bryan, I can recommend this school to anyone and everyone. I can confidently say that I loved this school and everyone in it, I still go back every now and then to talk with my teachers and friends.
