I am alumni of BAHS class of 2016. When I went there AVID was my favorite class and also had my favorite teacher. The teachers that I had really loved teaching and cared for there students. However my AVID teacher was the best. She really wanted all of her students to be college ready and to be first generation college students. I wish I could go back and start over and really pay more attention in classes. Now that I get older I can relate to my dad always encouraging me to stay focused on my studies. Sometimes we learn the hard way. I did enjoy going to B.A. It is a great high school in East Dallas. I was involved in many extra curricular activities. They had lots of sports/clubs you could join. The food was not the best but that doesn't have anything to do with the school but everything to do with DISD. Any who, I enjoyed my time at B.A. and if I had the opportunity to go back and do it all again I would!

During my three years at Bryan Adams High school, I have grown to become a smart wise woman during my classes by always using SLANT (Sit forward, Ask questions that i may not have understood, Nod my head when I am ready, and I always track the speaker when it comes to learning a new subject. Bryan Adams offers a great variety of clubs and organizations inside the campus. I am involved in the dance department, culinary arts, and french class. Today the problem at Bryan Adams High School is not being able to have enough time for our passing period to get to classes and students are getting irritated and emotionally stressed for it. We only get 4 minutes to get to one class to the other class that’s outside in the portables and it can be a very long way. The solution for this problem will be adding two more minutes for students in order to have enough time to get to class on time and eventually have everything ready on their desks ready to go when the bell rings.
I am a graduate from Bryan Adams High School. I have to say, i am proud to be a graduate from this amazing school. If we are truthfully speaking, many people say Bryan Adams has a "bad" reputation. I was somewhat skeptical of coming here my freshman hear but after the years went by i realized its far from a bad school. I give the academics, teachers, & college readiness a 5 star. Also, this school has the best club activities, sports, parent involvement and school spirit!
