Unlike other traditional high schools, the Brunswick County Early College is unique in its own way. With an extremely small class size, students are able to form close connections with not only other students, but teachers and staff as well. It is a extremely supportive environment where everyone wants to push you to achieve all of your goals and dreams. With its dual-enrolled program with the local community college it is an extremely cost-efficient and good choice for many students who are worried about financials. Overall one of the best decisions I ever made was being a part of the firebird family!
Brunswick County Early College High School (BCECHS) is an amazingly selective public school! I truly have felt at home in all my years of high school, and the academic standards ar amazing. We are a National Blue Ribbon School for NC, which is highly prestigious. They have the best teachers in the entire county! Along with the high school classes, they provide you with a college education as Brunswick Community College student, as equals! An associate's degree can be obtained after you graduate the high school! No cons!
Brunswick County Early College is a great opportunity for advanced students who want to get ahead within their educational careers. Students can graduate high school with an Associates Degree. In addition, Early College has many programs put in place to help students achieve their lifelong goals. As someone who has never liked school, I really enjoy my education at Early College.
