Brother Rice is a very good school that has an extremely welcoming environment. Their academics are top notch and the staff are nice people who are always willing to go the extra mile when it comes to education. Brother Rice encourages its students to go above and beyond what is required of them, and they do a great job of preparing their students for college. Beyond that, Brother Rice teaches its student body how to get ready for life outside of school by instilling a strong work ethic and positive attitude into them.
Brother Rice gave me the gift of faith. I would not be where I am today without Brother Rice. I graduated from a Catholic grammar school and at that point, you either choose to make choice for your faith in your teen years or you don't. Brother Rice helped me do that.
If I had to sum up my experience at Brother Rice it would be this- you will always be trying to do better. The teachers and all the staff want you to help yourself, act manfully in Christ and help others. If you are not helping your community you are not fulfilling your promise to God. There are so many opportunities to better yourself at Brother Rice. There is the Advocacy Group, the school mission, visiting other countries to do charity work, helping in the neighborhood, the Edmund Rice camp for kids who don't have a lot of money, and of course the Kairos retreats. If you don't walk away a better person when you leave in four years than when you came in, you did it wrong, plain and simple.

Brother Rice has been a tremendous experience for me. Since the time I enrolled, everyone there has been so nice and really helpful. They helped me with everything I needed to do. The staff helped me with homework, my counselors helped me with searching for colleges and even scholarships such as this one. The students at Brother Rice are also very nice. They are always got each other's backs and they also help you get where you need to. Everyone wants each other to succeed, and that is something I am very glad to experience. Something that I would like to change about Brother Rice is getting more involved with the community as a whole.
