My daughter has really liked most all of her teachers. They have connected with her and encouraged her. She got involved with Mu Alpha Theta because of her favorite math teacher. She really enjoyed her Spanish Classes I, II, III and has enjoyed BETA. She split her schedule in 11th and 12th between GraysonTech and has enjoyed taking Photography I and II and Culinary Arts. She has excelled at Photoshop and we plan to take the certification exam after she completes her senior year. She as completed her ServSafe certification requirements and exam. She enjoyed playing soccer her sophomore year and received a Scholar Athlete award. She was injured with a concussion and started having issues with exercise induced asthma so we have sat out the Jr/Sr year of soccer must to her dismay. But that is how she discovered photography and culinary arts! She is involved with NCCLS and SkillsUSA! We love Brookwood and Grayson!

My experience was ok, not the best school but not terrible. Brookwood has two significant rivalries within its GHSA region. The first is Parkview High School. The annual Brookwood v. Parkview football game is played as the Battle of Five Forks, named for Five Forks Trickum Road, which the length between the two schools.

Brookwood's second rival is South Gwinnett High School. Brookwood and South Gwinnett's football teams play annually for the Mayor's Cup in the Battle of Snellville, named because the two schools' attendance zones divide the city in two.
Brookwood is a fantastic school. For the most part, the teachers do a great job at teaching the content, and many of them use different activities to help us learn the content. They have dozens and dozens of different extracurricular activities, ranging from academically focused clubs to clubs involving things such as anime. The school also has a variety of activities to raise school spirit, some of which allow us to dress up in costumes or have holiday centered activities. Overall, Brookwood does well in preparing its students academically while still providing community based activities.
