Brookwood High School was a place with top-notch science teachers who taught AP science classes. They were either high-strung maniacs who taught so energetically that they would startle the entire classroom, or silver-haired people who had the whole "I-am-old-and-wise-and-very-much-so-smarter-than-you" air about them that taught through life lessons. While all of them seemed quite random and out of nowhere, at least it wasn't boring!

I like the teachers, they are hard working and teach well.
The teachers do we'll to make sure that the students understand the lessons. The students also work hard in their academics and they also care about their grades which ,makes the school very competitive.
The counselors are always there for the students when they are going through school related or home related problems. They also do well to teach the students about colleges and scholarship to better ready them for colleges. Brookwoo also offers good clubs that help students to get involve in community services through cleaning, going into hospitals, donating to the orphanages etc. Brookwood students are also thought to be disciplined. This makes the school the best in the state.
Brookwood does a nice job preparing kids for college, both due to its size and its academics. However, the emphasis seems more on achieving in rankings than on individual student engagement. If you need extra help, you easily get lost. Many teachers are excellent but others are slow to update parents of situations, don't follow 504/IEP standards and fail to update assignments and grades in a timely fashion. Typically those same teachers are unforgiving if a student is late. The size of the enrollment offers a great diversity of activities after school for students, so there is always some way to fit in. Less academically gifted kids can be overwhelmed and discouraged.
