It was a really great experience! I grew up in the Brookwood district, so I have been familiar with Brookwood for my entire life. The teachers and faculty are great, and they really take the time to get to know you. The administrators and counselors make sure to get you ready for college and prepare you for your future. The extracurriculars are also fantastic and there are so many different opportunities to choose from. I was personally involved the Student Government Association, and it was an incredible impactful experience. I was also to lead my peers, raise money for philanthropy events, and run different events! It was incredibly fun and an amazing experience to share with some of my best friends. Brookwood High School gave me many connections and has left a lasting impression on my future.

Brookwood High School was a place with top-notch science teachers who taught AP science classes. They were either high-strung maniacs who taught so energetically that they would startle the entire classroom, or silver-haired people who had the whole "I-am-old-and-wise-and-very-much-so-smarter-than-you" air about them that taught through life lessons. While all of them seemed quite random and out of nowhere, at least it wasn't boring!
The teachers are very attentive and do a great job of providing students with multiple ways of learning information. The school is prided on excellence and despite being very competitive, all the students support each other to succeed. They also promote growth mindsets which are imperative for success in college. The administrators and the teachers are exceptional and genuinely care about the students that filter through the high school. The counselors and advisors are outstanding at preparing students for college. The only thing I would change is the cafeteria menu. I believe that in order to foster great minds, the school needs to have nutritious meals for lunch and breakfast.
