I love Brooklyn Tech! It has many great opportunities for students and it really opens up a path for each and every one of us, with different talents. The teachers and students are great, and the community, all in all, is fantastic! The tiny problem I have is that Brooklyn Tech is a huge high school and it takes me an hour to arrive to school from Queens. For me, personally, it was hard transitioning to a small middle school to a school with over 5,000 students! Maybe it's just me, but I'm pretty sure many others see this as an advantage, since there are many leadership opportunities in the SGO. If I can, I would give this school a rating of 4.5 but a 4 is fine for now. Anyway, that sums up my 5 months of experience in Brooklyn Tech, although there is much more I want to talk about!
Review Brooklyn Technical High School
Brooklyn Technical High School is definitely a place for students to grow. While there are a few bad teachers, there are also many amazing teachers in this school as well, especially from the Chemistry department! Our school also works hard to raise school spirit by hosting activities during lunch time and after school.
My experience at Brooklyn Tech was great! There are many classes in diverse fields and there are endless opportunities because it is a large school. Overall, the academics were strong but you can have the occasional okay teacher. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to excel academically and has varied interests.
