Brookland - Cayce High is a great school, but it does have some pros and cons. My experience there has been decent there so far. They have wonderful, skilled teachers there who pushes you to soar beyond your limit. They also have plenty of out-of-school activities for students , activities like pep rallies, powder-puff games, pageants, dance-a-thons etc. They have a good athletic teams and a good athletic team. Brookland-Cayce also needs some help on some things. I believe that the school focus more on athletics than academics. I also believe that BC needs a stricter discipline code and stop giving students some slack. They also need improvement on security and safety of the school. Lastly, BC really needs to stop overlooking the arts (Theater, Orchestra, Chorus, Band etc.) and start including them in more. Overall, Brookland-Cayce is a decent, easy-going school.

Brookland Cayce High school is a great school. Most of the people are very nice and will help you. High school is usually seen as something scary but when I started as a freshman, anyone I asked for help, helped me. I am now a sophomore and I still really like Brookland Cayce, just don't like that our food was completely changed from last year. I like that race doesn't matter at Brookland Cayce, there really is no racial targeting. All people of different races hang out together and don't just separate into their own little groups. Teachers at Brookland Cayce are usually always willing to help, and give after school tutoring which is very helpful.
Brookland-Cayce High School is not only a high school to me. BC is my second home and has been for the past six years. I have been on the Varsity Competition Cheerleading team there since seventh grade. I have made many memories and relationships with friends and adults that will last a lifetime. Brookland-Cayce is a school based on tradition. The school was built in 1932 and has been evolving ever since. I am an addition to the tradition at BC. Both of my parents graduated from Brookland Cayce and many family members. As my twin brother and I enter into our senior year at Brookland Cayce, I look back and realize how thankful I am to have attended an amazing school these past years and how much I look forward to the year to come. This school has made me who I am today and I am thankful for the opportunities I have been given at Brookland-Cayce High School.
