From Brookfield Academy

For more than 60 years, Brookfield Academy has been offering an exceptional education for students, while preparing them for purposeful lives long after graduation day. As a family- based school, Brookfield Academy is dedicated to making the college preparatory learning experience exciting and enriching. Brookfield Academy is a co-educational, private, independent day school for grades K3 through 12. Our student-to-teacher ratio is 8:1. We are located on 125 acres with six buildings, an athletic complex, playgrounds, fields, and woods. The school’s mission and excellence result from the fact that each aspect of Brookfield Academy - the classroom instruction, the athletic program, the arts, and all the extracurriculars - work together to form the students’ character, their confidence, their intellect, and their sense of purpose and responsibility.

Brookfield Academy Mini Economy (BAME)

academic spotlight

BAME is a nationally-recognized, fully-interactive economic simulation in which students run the government, make laws, collect taxes, etc. They have their own currency and students learn financial fundamentals - the differences between renting and owning, buying insurance, banking, etc. Students earn income through jobs or entrepreneurship and learn about profit, loss and expenses.
