I’ve attended Bronzeville my whole 4 years of high school and it got worse and worse every year. Freshman year I felt that the teachers loved their jobs, students and staff were respectful and overall the education was better. Year after year I’ve had different principles and assistant principals with all different images and expectations of the school. Due to the inconsistency of school administrators the school slowly started to go down hill. More fights, lack of respect for students and staff, a form of a dangerous environment. The school just overall became a “Lean on Me” school.

At Bronzeville Scholastic Institute, I liked that there was a senior seminar class that prepared you for all things college. You were getting help with fafsa and understanding which colleges would be a good fit for you. Things that could change at this school is planning things on time. Things were always changed or being post-poned. Or even told to the students at the last minute. Important things like senior picture day and prom.
I like that if you want to challenge yourself academically Bronzeville will give you that option and multiple options based on how much you want to challenge yourself. I like how the school is open to new and different clubs and how easy it is to create a club. There is a lot of different opportunities to learn and grow at Bronzeville.
