The teachers here are great and provide a wonderful education, but that doesn't outweigh the negatives about this place. The entire community is exceedingly cruel, vain, and greedy. It's all about how much money your parents make and how much of a "lax legend" you are. The environment is also incredibly competitive to the point of being toxic, although it's safe to say that the competitiveness isn't the only toxic component of this deplorable community. I can't wait until I graduate from this hellhole.

Bronxville High School is one of the top schools of New York and you are most likely going to have great teachers. There are a some teachers truly love or hate, but that is the situation with any person really. Going after school to talk to teachers show that you care and will encourage you to do better. Guidance counselors and teachers are there for you as long as you speak up and tell them any issues you are having. They want to see you succeed as long as you put the effort into it. The school usually automatically puts you in an honors class and there are many AP classes to choose from. There are many clubs, sports, extracurriculars and classes to make your college application look great.
Bronxville is a great school. The academic environment is competitive, but allows most kids to thrive. Almost all teachers are stellar, though there are the occasional exceptions. The school is extremely small, be warned, with about 125 kids per grade. However, the building is shared with Bronxville Middle and Elementary schools, so it doesn't feel as small as the size would suggest.

Party culture and drinking is huge here, but it's not a high pressure thing - students who choose not to indulge are not excluded. The atmosphere can definitely seem cliquey at times.
