My school Broken Arrow High School is an amazing contribution to the education system in America. It has great educators, curriculums, and a variety of extracurricular activities and clubs you can enjoy. The High School also has a great football team and band, I would definitely recommend having your child attend Broken Arrow High School! The teachers and staff truly care about your well-being!
Broken Arrow High School is the biggest and best high school in Oklahoma. I graduated in the top 10% of my class and am an Oklahoma Academic Scholar. I will enter the University of Tulsa with enough AP credits transferred in to start my college career as a Sophmore. Because of the collaboration between BAHS and Tulsa Technology Center, I completed the four year Advanced Engineering Program. The classes through Tulsa Tech provided the opportunity to study Aerospace Engineering, Computer Integrated Manufacturing and Computer Science as well as Pre-Calculus and AP Calculus BC. BAHS has just opened the Vanguard Academy which is the district's state-of-the-art STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) facility. BAHS has award winning athletics, marching band, and media extracurricular programs.
Broken Arrow High School has changed my life for the better. Of course, there are some aspects, specifically the counseling services, that could improve, but the rest of the experience makes up for any flaws. I have been blessed with some of the best teachers imaginable, who not only prepare me for AP exams and college classes but also approach their job with such grace, patience, and enthusiasm that class feels more like a hobby than an obligation. The variety of offered courses ensures that students can tailor their schedules to fit their interests, and the college and career resources prepare students for life after graduation, no matter what path they plan on taking. Despite the overwhelming number of students and the obstacles posed by COVID-19, Broken Arrow High School continues to set up students for success and provide a safe, nurturing environment that allows students to recognize and fulfill their true potential.
