I am involved in just about everything you can be that has to do with leadership, and I absolutely love it. I have been at this school since I first started school, and it has been amazing to see it grow. Brock High School offers so many new opportunities for kids. I am in NHS (Historian), Student Council (President), and my local FFA chapter (Vice President and Student Advisor. Having held these positions, I have a lot of involvement on making Brock an amazing place. From sports to academics, we are the best at it all! The tight knit community and friendships are something I will treasure for ever. It is a small school so everyone knows everyone, which I like. I could never imagine going to a large school and not knowing everyone in my grade.
Brock is well known for their academic and athletic prowess. However, since everyone here is so amazing, it makes many extraordinary student athletes look, well, ordinary. It is very similar to valedictorians, top of the line students, all going to an Ivy League college and finding out that maybe they aren't that top of the line anymore. While that sounds very negative, I actually believe it makes everyone here strive to be better. The amount of success Brock, America has seen can be attributed to the way that everyone holds everyone up. Teammates keep teammates accountable for their work ethic, and it really shows. Academics? It's the same. Students fight for the chance to be in the top ten percent, but with the small classes, it truly is a fight. But like I said earlier, it just makes every student work harder to get the best grades possible.
I started kindergarten at Brock Elementary, now I am a senior at Brock High school and I have loved every moment of it. Kind people, great staff, and home of champions. I've loved making memories with my classmates, it something I will hold onto forever. It has grown tremendously over the last decade and will always be a place I will be proud to call my home. The community of Brock is so giving, we carry traditions for years and make new students feel welcomed. Friday night lights is something I always look forward to as a varsity cheerleader, I love to cheer on the eagles to victory. At Brock you will always find an activity that best fits your interests. Some things I am involved in are student council, National Honor Society, FFA, tennis, cheerleading, and One Act Play. It's sad to know that I will not be attending Brock after I graduate, but at least I know I have been successfully prepared for the next chapter in my life.
