I feel fairly prepared for college. Seniors are required to take a personal finance class which teaches them how to manage money in the "real world". It outlines college living, paying taxes, budgeting, and all the essentials of living on your own just out of high school. Being a small school we don't have a lot of access to a variety of classes. It is mostly the same core classes we need to graduate. The classes are not diverse but it is enough to prepare some one for college.

I moved to Broad view about three years ago and i was not doing well in my classes because my teachers were not working with me but when i started to attend Broad-view High School within a month i had really good grades
Being a relatively small school, it is easy too keep in touch with all the students and know what their personal struggles are. No one sneaks under the radar. We don't have a problem with bullying. We have a resource officer that comes in once a week and hangs out with the kids and answers questions and takes care of any problems we may have. I feel may school is fairly safe.
