Just finished 8th grade here, all my teachers were nice and caring though could get mean depending on how the class behaves. There is drama throughout the years but they die down quickly. Everyone is friendly but 6th and 7th graders are getting too mouthy. Saying slurs and racist jokes. My friends was getting bullied for all of 8th grade and when she finally reported it, the faculty barely did anything to control it. There’s a lot of kids skipping classes in the halls. I never personally liked the faculty, they were too strict. My overall experience was in Briscoe was good/average.
We love Briscoe. We transferred from a different middle school in NISD and it’s like night and day. Amazing, from the principal Mrs. Rather, on down. It’s just a completely different vibe. Bengal pride!
Briscoe has a lively atmosphere with very kind, helpful and supportive teachers and staff. Majority of the students are very friendly and active within their academics as well as extracurricular activities. I am a part of the athletics department, and I love the coaches as well as my teammates. The occasional fight does occur, but usually settles down very quickly so we can go amongst our regularly scheduled program.
