All the teachers are good and are willing to help students out with not only school work but are also there for any one who just needs someone to talk to. Most of the teachers are goos at engaging their students into the listen being taught while some others could use some work on that. Brillion has very nice classrooms that are always clean. The gym is a pretty big gym considering the size of the school. In gym class there are many opportunities to learn new skills and also be able to split up into groups because the gym is that nice. Brillion also has a large auditorium that is used for many things like drama, meetings, and music. The administrative staff is very involved in the school and the students. They try to make it more fun so that kids are more willing to go to school. They set up activities that are fun that involve the students. The whole school is involved in school spirit events, dances, even March Madness brackets.
I think it’s a good school, as long as you aren’t a special education student. As a special education student I felt like I was criticized by teachers and teased by a lot of the students. It was really a struggle for me. I’ve also watched drugs and alcohol take over the school in the past few years.
I transferred to Brillion my senior year of high school. The difference in the school size was significant, but everyone was so welcoming. I also noticed that a vast majority of the students are very hard-working; academically, sports-wise, and work-wise. It is nice to see that there are still young adolescents out there who care about their future.
