Brighton High, like many other schools in Boston public school system does the best they can with the resources that they have. Great teachers, very supportive and show an importance of current events in classwork.
Brighton High School is like every other bps, although I actually enjoy going to school I can say for the most part it's not for the good reasons like actually learning. The schools staff and administration is one of the best I've experienced they actually care about EVERY student, and try to push them to become better academically and socially as a person. But by having a good staff and administration doesn't make up for the students failing classes, slacking off. The teaching itself- not the teachers needs to improve definitely, I wouldn't recommend this school to someone who is looking to push themselves and want to go to a top tier college.
My Brighton High experience was okay. As a school community Brighton was aware of themselves and supported fellow Bengals. It is a public school, public schools tend to have a bit more of freedom for students which is not a negative aspect but could impact students accountability later on.
