Very bad school. This school is filled mostly with sporty kids. It's not very diverse and not many people are different from eachother. Those who are different are made fun of. The most that happens to those caught making fun of someone is that they only get spoke to. No other measures are taken. There are constant talk of fights and drugs. During my time, a boy even brought a gun to school without the teachers knowledge and kept it on him throughout the day. Leaving without anyone knowing that he had a gun in the waistband. The academics are fast moving and doesn't offer much help to those who are slower learners. All clubs and activites are based around sports. Theres only two clubs that are centered around other interests. Yearbook and Art. Even then, Yearbook is only open to 8th graders. Leaving Art club as the only extracurricular activity for children with other interests to do. I don't recommend it at all

Poor test scores reflect negligent emphasis on academics. Difficult to justify considering high economic base, high teacher to student ratio, and very high teacher salary average.
Bullying was always immediately taken care of by the guidance counselor and the disciplinarian. The school nurse usually just gave crackers and juice to anyone with a problem, as if crackers and juice would solve everything. The police had many demonstrations and safety was something that was taught every year. The school is very safe. There is not a lot of security concerns because the town has a very low crime rate.
