My first two years here I absolutely loved, then came this big scandal and an entire faculty change. They killed the school spirit and began to let students in without auditioning all to meet a quota to get more money. As an artist, it became a depressing and non-motivating environment. I found myself doing less creative work as I dragged myself through the last two years and I was also restricted artistically. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of those first two years and my music teacher helping me out a lot giving me a connection that helped me continue to have an artistic outlet outside of high school.

The only athletic extra-curricular activity is the new running club. However, there are other clubs offered such as The Environmental Club, Tri-M Music Honors Society, National Honors Society, Key Club, Art Club, Gay-Straight Alliance, K-Pop Club, Anime and Manga Club, Future Scientists of America Club, Fashion Club, and possibly several others that I do not recall. Many clubs are dependent on student leaders with teachers just as sponsors so it is sometimes not enforced the way it should be in order to have events and activities properly scheduled. However when the teachers are the leaders of the clubs, like the Tri-M Music Honors Society, things are more organized and successful. The issue is mostly due to student irresponsibility and commitment. However, even without clubs, our students have many extra curricular activities to attend because of rehearsals, shows, and other events so aside from clubs and academics, we are active and busy most of the time!
Even though this school has already shut down my experience overall in this school is terrible. The administration is a mess. Education there is terrible does not prepare for college readiness and not enough materials to learn with. No textbooks no electronic board, the arts in there is trash. We could not do anything because we have no money apparently. No school spirit this school is an absolute joke.
