As a member of Bridgeport High School, I was privileged to experience the close knit community and educational support provided by the teachers and staff. Throughout my high school career I was encouraged and pushed to reach my full potential. The individual attention I received from teachers was what I valued most from my time spent at Bridgeport High School.
As far as improvement and change is concerned at Bridgeport High School, I would like to see more emphasis on school spirit. The students of Bridgeport High are not enthusiastic about attending Bridgeport, and they are not proud of their school. I believe that if the teachers and faculty encouraged students spirit rather than discouraged it, Bridgeport's school attendance, sport success, and test grades would drastically improve.

I would like to see the teachers change at my high school. They are all very under qualified and don't put much effort into actually educating in comparison to just using book work. It makes my academic studies much less intense and challenging, because of this I feel less prepared than I should be for moving on to the adult world and a post secondary education.
I liked that the administration was always helpful and were always around to make sure everyone was doing good and enjoying school. We had MacBooks at the school to help us out with education and I think having the technology there that we have will increase the quality of learning for many students there to come and I think it greatly increased my quality of learning too. The resources available through the technology help especially with AP research and it makes everything a lot easier for a normally stressful situation.
