Briarwood Christian School Reviews
Rating 4.09 out of 5 69 reviews
As parents, we've been really impressed with the quality of education our children are receiving at Briarwood. Their curriculum is advanced but age appropriate. They don't place onerous homework burdens on young kids. As Christians, we're confident that Briarwood is providing our children with a education centered around Jesus. We love this sweet school!
I love My school! Although it certainly is not perfect, the teachers strive to make all students feel prepared to succeed. I would send my kids to Briarwood in a heartbeat. Even though every school has bullying, Briarwood students and teachers try especially hard to make students feel loved and included. The school spirit at football games is unmatched to any other school!
While the education I received at Briarwood was well above average, the social environment that it created and perpetuated was both unsustainable and damaging to its student and faculty body. My best experiences that came from Briarwood were a result of the wonderful Fine Arts sector of the school, between Show Choir and Drama, there was plenty to do, and plenty of love to go around. My worst experiences from Briarwood come from the frequent aggressive turnover of faculty, whoever would give those who did not fit in a place were subsequently taken out of the equation. Overall, I would suggest that a less rigid approach to doctrine differences be taken if the school wishes to continue in this age of acceptance and open-mindedness.
