My child started kindergarten there and has been there almost 3 years. He use to really like it and he did have 2 amazing teachers his first two years. His teacher this year is rude, plays favorites with the kids, treats my son differently because of his special needs. The school cannot handle a special needs child. They don’t follow protocol on IEPs or 504s. The one in charge of the special needs program has a degree in physical education not in special education. I am pulling my child out of this school this year. Bullying doesn’t get addressed either.
I am a parent of 3 children, all of whom have attended Brevard Academy, my youngest still attends. This is a great school, with caring teachers and principle. We have a wonderful experience here! I am sad to say this is my youngest Daughter's last year! I wish this school would continue to the 12th grade and my children would be graduating from Brevard Academy.
I have seen first hand the compassion and dedication of the staff here, not only for the student's but also the parent's! I have seen my children blossom and grow exponentially since attending. My youngest Daughter has a teacher that she says has made her work harder than she would have otherwise and it has made her grow! Those are her words! She has thrived here and because of this I have been one happy happy happy parent!!

My daughter has always had negative experiences at school. This year we decided to send her to Brevard Academy and WOW the difference!!! She is happy every single day. She has made some wonderful friends and she loves her teachers. Also, her teachers won't let her "slip through the cracks". They actively work towards finding ways for her to do better in her schoolwork without making her feel bad when she struggles.
