My child transferred to BHS as a senior and it’s been a great experience. BHS has a wonderful, dedicated and engaging faculty who cares about their students! We never thought we’d be transferring to such a small school but it’s been a pleasant surprise. Great diversity in student and faculty population, small sized classes, fabulous renovation in a lively historic building. Feels like a small prep school.
I love my highschool, Brentwood. We have some of the best teachers in the state. For instance, in our science and mathematics department, our teachers clearly have a great passion for what they are traching. This ofcourse rubs off on the students aswell. Though what exemplifies this is our small class size. With only 60 students we are allowed more one-on-one time with teachers. But what is even more exiting than this is our new facilities and better classrooms. My most favorite example being our music room. In my guitar class each student can use his/her own amp along with the rest of the class which is something few schools can boast.
My favorite part of coming to Brentwood High School was my teachers. If anything, I'm closer to my teachers than any of the students. Because the school is so small and is in the middle of a neighborhood, sports were made difficult because not a lot of people joined and drama spread throughout the school quickly.
