Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School is overall a good environment. There is both good and bad; the relationship that students hold with teachers is somewhat lacking. Some teachers do not seem to want to care about students’ lives, and don’t involve themselves enough to see students succeed. On the other hand, the school offers a great deal of extra-curriculars for students to get involved.
I was a part of the Brecksville/Broadview Hts. (BBHHS) school district from preschool through graduation in May of 2020. I went to Stepping Stone Preschool because of being speech delayed. It was good program that helped with my speech besides completing academic lessons.
My middle school 6th/8th grade science teacher, Ms. Kroesen, helped me with my decisions to go into the sciences. She really made science interesting and a class I looked forward to attending every day.
BBHHS have a great music program which I was a part of for my freshman through senior year. Mr. Wyse and Ms. Astey made us feel like a family, even though we were a 300-member family. Ms. Acciardo, math and Ms. Smith, chemistry are two of my favorite teachers at the high school that made unpopular classes enjoyable.
I’m not sure what I would like to change. Maybe get the plumbing fixed in the HS school. I feel I had a good learning experience because of some excellent teachers in the school district.

I love everything about BBHHS, the teachers, the friendships made, the clubs, the events, etc. I was a new student to the Brecksville-Broadview Heights School District in eighth grade, I can say from then till senior year have been the best days of my life so far and I cannot imagine having moved to any other schools, I wouldn't have it any other way. If you are considering attending one of the Brecksville-Broadview Heights city schools, or looking to enroll your children, I highly recommend it.
