Teachers have always been readily available and happy to help no matter the time of day. The dining service is absolutely outstanding with many options for people on various diets. The campus and building are always excellently maintained by the facilities staff. There’s a lot of promotion to join clubs, sports, special programs and other activities and I’m pretty sure none of them have cuts. From a culture stand point, it is incredible welcoming and there are numerous yearly events that are unique to the school. Some of the less greats thing would be the sports equipment and facilities (especially baseball and swimming) could use a little work. Also, as much of the school promotes open conversations in the end the school is very much liberal so more moderate or conservative viewpoints may not be as inclined to speak up. However, in my four years, I have never heard of instances of discrimination because of political beliefs
We adore Breck! Our son has grown and developed so much since he started in pre-k. The teachers know him well and partner to help him grow in so many ways! Because it’s a small school, he can explore so many subjects and does not need to pick a track.
We are beyond grateful to have in person learning during COVID.

Our oldest child is going into 2nd grade and our second child is starting pre-k. The small class sizes allow teachers to really know their students well and offer engaging, creative, adaptive instruction. We have found the faculty, staff, and administration here to be caring, intentional, and dedicated to the wellbeing of students. Additionally, the music, art, and language programs are fantastic! We've been impressed by how they help younger students build foundational skills in a fun, interactive way. We like having p-12 on one campus for many reasons, including the long-term convenience of having all our kids in one location and the strong sense of community and connections that develop between older and younger students through buddy programs. Dr. Hernández, the Head of School, is WONDERFUL. Lastly, as a multiracial family who values social justice, we appreciate the student diversity and the emphasis on ongoing community service. Students learn to be change-makers who give back.
