Brebeuf is a good fit for students who are self-motivated. Students learn to manage their time with the modular schedule, which will be useful in college. Brebeuf students also have the opportunity to get to know teachers very well thanks to the small class sizes. The social studies department is fantastic! The math department is not. If you are not a math whiz, you are going to struggle the entire four years. There are plenty of clubs and teams you can participate in as well as a number of summer programs. The counselors at Brebeuf are very helpful as well. Each student is assigned both an academic counselor and a college counselor, which is wonderful. Knowing that you have the same person all four years to help you reach to college goals is great.

Overall, I like Brebeuf and gained some life long friends. However, I am African American and coming from public school, it was hard to get used to the atmosphere at first. The diversity definitely could use work and the lunch was not very good when I went there but I heard it got better! I did sports and it was one of my highlights of high school but I hated losing in the "play offs" because it was so sad!
I cannot imagine having gone anywhere else for high school. Brebeuf prepared me for college and life in unimaginable ways. I would not be who I am today without this amazing school. Only have good things to say: the welcoming community, the caring and intelligent teachers, the push for a positive impact, etc. I will never forget the impact this school had on me! Much love.
