My experience at Brashear was good but my senior year was cut short due to Covid-19. I was at Brashear for 2 years, I transferred due to a program that I was interested in which was called Automotive Technology. I enjoyed the program, I would suggest it to anyone who wants to learn how to work on vehicles. The school is very diverse which is something cool about it. Many different incentives for the different cultures there. I can't really say too much due to my short period of time there but I enjoyed it. What I liked about it was the different things that you are able to be involved in. There are many programs you can choose from due to your likings. Something I would like to see change is that other people/cultures can get involved with the incentives to explore the things they do and foods they eat. Other than that I would definitely recommend this school to people.

I went to Brashear High school for all four years. I was enrolled in the computer science magnet program and then went into the Multimedia Production and Coding CTE (Career in Technical Education) and loved everythig about it. I earned 6 college credits within this course as well as an OSHA certification and i am also a Dreamweaver Certified Associate. I was captain of the girls tennis team in the year 2017-2018 and we went to states for the first time ever!
Over all I love the diversity in the school! Most teachers care about the students although there are times when the teaching was lacking. Occasional fights. Not as much school spirit but pep rallies are always fun. Love my language teachers. Some students don’t really care about school.
