I am currently a junior at Bradley Tech high school and I would say my experience has been an experience. Starting high school I was scared. I didn't know what would happen or what I would go through. Throughout the years, I have been associating with some great teachers and staff that I will remember. I have been given opportunities that benefited me in the long run. Opportunities such as career and learning opportunities. The teachers and staff care that you graduate and find a career that you are passionate about. Even though Bradley tech has these perks, they do have their cons. However, the opportunities somewhat outweigh the cons. If you trust your child enough to do the right thing, then you have nothing to worry about.
My experience at Bradley Tech is amazing. Bradley Tech is not like what everybody told me it was like. It's a lot of hands on hands things you could do in this school. This that you can't get from another school. I like that Bradley Tech give us youth to get experienced with the real world. You can't change how people act but the one thing that do need to change is that, they shouldn't treat us youth like we are in prison. Our learning environment also need to change. We need teacher who are passionate about their job and not sub teachers who are there just for a pay check.
One thing I enjoyed about going to Bradley Tech are the teachers. The teachers always encourage me to do better. One thing I would change about this high school would be our education system. We aren't prepared for college at all.
