If you want to hear racial slurs every day, constantly be micromanaged by teachers, and get bullied, this is the perfect school for you!! In all seriousness, my 3 years at Bradford were the worst. They claim to be a prestigious school that will prepare you for college, but most of my friends who left Bradford and went to other schools were VERY behind. They also don’t seem to be taking COVID-19 seriously. Administration is very bad at communicating and has a lot of random, pointless rules. Children of the faculty get away with everything. Bradford takes amazing kids and turns them into the worst versions of themselves. My self-esteem, mental health, and happiness in general were absolutely destroyed. I especially do not recommend for low-income families as they are very strict about their uniforms, which are extremely expensive.
Considering the school is just a few years old, it is a decent school. The college preparation isn’t very great, but you can tell that the majority of the administration cares about the future of the kids at this school.
Bradford is a very great school with a lot of great people who want to see you do better in life and make it to college.
My favorite thing about Bradford was the close knit community that the small class sizes created. You are able to create a true and genuine connection with all your classmates and teachers. The memories and relationships that I have made at that school will last me a lifetime. I am so grateful I was able to attend Bradford Preparatory School for my entire high school career. I am so excited to see what the following years have to store for the growth of the school. I would definitely recommend Bradford to anyone.
Very fun school, tons of field trips. Very small classes which makes making friends and building relationships with teachers very easy.
My children have been at Bradford since the second year it was opened. We love this school. My children have flourished at Bradford. The smaller community is a perfect fit for them. I highly recommend Bradford Prep!
Bradford Prepatory School is a great inclusive school! They really want what is best for the students.
We have been at Bradford since the school opened 6 years ago. We’ve seen them grow through the many challenges of being a new school. Overall it’s been a good experience.
I like the size of the school because the students get to inter each with teachers in a more personal way. I don’t mind having uniforms because for high school we can wear jeans. However, one thing that I don’t like is that sometimes there can be a lack of communication to the students and parents. The school is improving on this issue though.
Several of my kids have been at the school since it opened. We love the smaller school feel and my kids actually enjoy going to school now. The teachers truly care about the students and the school is doing everything they can to prepare students for life and college. I know my children are being challenged and they enjoy the many athletic opportunities that are offered at the school. While the school is only 6 years old, it feels more established and rooted in the community. I have another child that went to the local county school and the experience has been night and day. We are thankful for Bradford Prep and the opportunities it has given my kids.
I have been a student at Bradford Preparatory School since I was in the 7th grade. It Started out as a very good alternative to public schools, but once I entered high school the good feeling I had about the school changed. the school is very good as far as education wise but their are other aspects that need improvement in order for students to get the best high school experience they deserve. There is a lack of organization within the Administrative department of the school. There have been many instances where information is left out or things are planned last minute. Overall the school has potential to become a great learning institution but the administrative department has to be willing to be open minded.
Overall Bradford was a good school. As part of the first graduating class I feel like we were gunnie pigs for a lot of things. Also because it was a new charter school the teacher turn over the first fees years was hard for in coming students who were use to having some stability. Not a bad school but they need to correct some things to be successful in the future specifically in the HighSchool.
I like that it helps prepare me for college and challenges me in my studies. But I would like to see the sports program improve as they build new facilities.
I've been attending Bradford since its inception in 2013. Its has grown in academics, diversity, and communication over the years which has been a positive change for me. I'm glad to have been a part of this transition and will hope that the rising students continue to see positive change at Bradford.
I liked how the teachers taught creatively. I really enjoyed my time at Bradford Prep School. I went there for eighth grade which was the first year they were opened.
Bradford Preparatory School allows you to participate in a lot of community service projects which benefits my college application. The school is also based off of "college prep academics"; so it prepares and gives a start of how college is going to be experienced in work ethnic possibilities. Bradford offers so many opportunities to gain credits for college and high school before graduating there: taking online classes over the summer or during school.
I’m surprised it’s not a private school. Quality education they can use in the real world. I have a child in each level. Elementary, middle, and high school. This is our second year and we love it. I just wish there was transportation given.
