Bozeman High School Reviews
Rating 3.99 out of 5 386 reviews
Bozeman High School provides an awesome environment to learn, meet new people, and explore different passions. With teachers who focus on the wellbeing and success of students, and a wide range of clubs and electives, I feel that I have been able to grow both academically and as person. I moved to Bozeman my freshman year and didn't know anyone, but felt very welcomed by my peers and have made lifelong friends. Although the counselors are always available, I would like to see more involvement and connection with the students, even if it isn't directly asked for.
I liked the community, but the collection of kids had a very cliquey feel. I enjoyed many of the teachers and the variety of academics was beneficial. I also appreciated the amount of college readiness available as well as other academic support, such as for reading and high level classes, many teachers had lots of availability. On the other hand though, the bozeman school district and Bozeman High in particular greatly lacked parent involvement. Funding for many things was limited and I had wished parents could have contributed to more.
The teachers I had at Bozeman High were very passionate, caring and helpful. I can’t think of one teacher that didn’t do their job with good intentions. I also had the opportunity of traveling with the school’s Spanish program to the DR and had the opportunity to participate in amazing things. I had one teacher that worked mindfulness into her daily class routine, I think that sort of thing happening in every class would be very beneficial to students.
