I’m a senior at Boyle County High School. The teachers are fantastic. If students don’t understand, the teachers find another way to try to explain the content until the student understand. There are constantly safety checks at the school including an officer and dog. They now do random drug testing on students for safety. Teachers stand by the bathrooms, hallways, and the lobby during breaks for safety reasons. The sports at Boyle County are awesome. We’ve won many state championships, region championships, and district championships in many sports. The academics are great with many AP classes and great ACT score. The students are always pushed to achieve greatness and reach their full potential. The counselors offer so much help with getting students ready for college or the military. The school also offers so many clubs for all the students to join so that every student can find something they enjoy doing.
Boyle County High School offers an outstanding education. Teachers and staff are focused and determined to provide the best education possible for students. That being said, sports bias is very prevalent here. Certain athletes are treated to more grace than other students. Rules are changed for these athletes and the school gives them a slight advantage over other students.
It is quite fun. There is truly something for everyone. The teachers placed the students' understanding over the tests and the funding. I wish that the arts got more attention and the football team didn't get almost all of the regcngntion for how wonderful the school was. The young teachers were all fun and very easy to talk to; even some of the older teachers are fun. Boyle County High School brought people together, both hill billy country folk and city kids and the two sides got along and are friends. I love how a student could be whoever they want to be and not get into trouble for being different. Boyle County High School is problably one of the greatest schools in America.
