The school has a variety of programs to ensure the success of students: Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID), Advancement Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB) and Health and Wellness. The school also has a YMCA program which provides students with extracurricular activities such as Key Club, Mentoring Tomorrows Leader, Youth In Government, Cultural Club, etc.
While the school has so many great programs, the school is currently working towards uplifting the school sprit as well as testing scores.

I liked that I have amazing friends at Boyd Anderson, or as I would call my school, BA. BA is an okay school, it just needs some major improvements, like for example, our school spirit is very low. Many students complain about the school lacking in school spirit, but most never participate in extracurricular activities, clubs, or engage in the activities during lunch time. I would love to change our headphone rule, which is a rule that bans headphone use unless the teacher allows the use of headphones. That rule is very stupid, because we can't our headphones during breakfast and lunch, which are like break time.
Faculty involvement was the best at attribute offered from Boyd Anderson high school, the staff and teachers were highly involved in all the students activities making sure they have the necessary tools and resources to follow lthe best path and to reach their future goals. I would love to see good Anderson high school return Its foreign exchange program.
