Box Elder High School involves several opportunities for students to excel. It offers great teachers that succeeds in a positive learning environment and provides higher education. There are several clubs that many students engage in and that allows diversity in interests, as well as provides unity in my peers. There are always opportunities to take action in the students college readiness; with that it takes away much stress from the students. All the students at Box Elder High School love to take apart of school pride especially when it comes to school sports! My experience at Box Elder High School has been amazing due to all these amazing people and things that play a part in creating a positive experience to remember!

I absolutely love Box elder high school. The teachers and administration are fantastic! They take their own personal time to make sure the students are succeeding in academics and in their own lives. One thing I’d like to see change is the students. I want them to reach out to each other, make new friends, and be kind to everyone. Box elder has struggled with suicides recently, and I believe as students we can fix the issue together.
The best thing about Box Elder are the teachers who really care about what their teaching. Not all of the teachers are like that, but I have found that the vast majority want to help the students learn. Most teachers will make an opportunity available to you for remediation if you ask, but you do have to take that initiative to stand up for yourself. The theater department is legendary and the choral dept. has a shrine of trophies in the main entrance hall. Being a band member, I will that the band got a little more funding and attention. Even with the supplies we have, both band and orchestra have very talented kids. There are still things about Box Elder that I would change. The counseling department hasn't impressed me. In the times that I have interacted with them, I have always found it more useful to talk to the teachers for scheduling issues.
