Consistent caring teachers who assist students with academics. BCHS offers a variety of athletic sports in which I have participated in 3 overall. I also enjoy the open campus and the ability to walk around and feel safe. I enjoy the amount of information that teachers provide and incorporate rigor in order to prepare me for college. In addition, I have enjoyed getting to know my Principal, Mr. Bravo and how much he cares for me as a student and has an interest in my college decisions as well as my athletic accomplishments. I have truly enjoyed my choir experience and I feel as if BCHS has prepared me for college. I will miss my teachers whom I've gotten to know over the past four years but look forward to my future in college. BCHS has a culture that involves monthly mass and I do enjoy listening to Father speak, since he is young, he is able to understand us "teenagers" more than older priests and he is good at playing the guitar! Go Golden Eagles, fight-win! TY
Good school! They incorporate the word if God in most studies. The teachers and faculty are great people, they are caring for the students. The have different activities for students to engage in, overall pretty good!
I had a very good experience at Bourgade Catholic. As a Catholic school, I believe that by going there, it deepened my connection with God, as our Priest and campus minister, made me excited to go to all Catholic school events. As a private school, I feel that it made me prepared to go to College, as the school structure of classes and late work policies are very much in line with the college work I am doing now. Some things that I would like to change is the art and music/theatre department (or lack there of) and to make it more of an emphasis. As someone that did theatre, our stage was very lackluster and we had to rely more on our acting than unique stage transitions and stage design. In my last year, they spent over 1 million on refurbishing the track and not spending a dollar on making the theater department any more professional. One last thing that I would like to change is that I didn't feel prepared going into the AP exams for the AP classes than I did take (except in Eng).
