Boulder Prep isn't for everyone but it was the perfect school for me! The small size and warm community made my high school experience better than it could have been anywhere else. The classes are unique and interesting and the teachers are engaged and devoted to their student's success. It's also entirely fee-free including school lunches and afterschool activities.

Boulder Prep is a very different learning environment for students. I remember my first day an described it as chaotic and uncontrolled, but I relieve after my first year of being there its not like that at all. Teachers are aware of all students behaviors and holds them accountable for any mistreatment of fellow students. The staff is kind and understanding of any situation and has push students past their own expectations to accomplish the educational goals to help them succeed in life. Its great to see the school work as a community and provide a second home for their students.
Boulder Prep is a small tight knit community full of kind and accepting people. Being a charter school we do not have have athletics however we make up for this with the many after school adventures such as museum trips and engineering labs. Our teachers show their passion for education through their hard work and concern for each students learning experience, and their drive to make each class fit the learning style of each individual. Our teachers work hard to create mind blowing opportunities for the students in our school whose families struggle financially, covering the cost of almost anything and everything a student may need to better their learning opportunity. I personally have enjoyed the connections I have made with my educator and fellow peers, as well as guest who grace our building frequently. Whether it was an after school trip to the cadaver lab, or an amazingly thought out and well taught medicinal plants class I can proudly say I am beyond pleased with the blessing of Boulder Preparatory high schools impact on my education and am thankful that the teachers have sparked a passion for learning within me.
