Boulder is the best high school for any student seeking more then just the basics. The classes they offer at BC beat any school in the DVUSD district. The preforming arts teachers are amazing. And they offer classes such as; engineering, ceramics, guitar, piano, photography, graphic design, financials, 7 different choir options, and individual classes for every instrument in band, they also offer many different levels of dance and art classes for people just beginning, and the more advance, plus theater, and theater club, who do semi-annual plays throughout the year. So while our teachers for academics can be sucky. I love the variety our school has. And wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Boulder Creek is a wonderful place to cultivate who you are as an individual! There are a variety of different clubs and activities to be involved in that we equally supported on campus. I personally have been in competitive show choir for four years! On top of this I am an all AP Student and have been lucky to work with some of the best teachers our nation has to offer who are well recognized for their craft. The only thing I would like to see change at BCHS is to create more cultural diversity aswell as put the same amount of focus and energy on general education as they do advanced placement. I highly recommend attending Boulder for the perfect Highschool experience. All students and teachers are morally and academically driven. Go the fighting Jaguars!
My time at Boulder Creek helped me create some of my strongest friendships and greatest memories. The Student Government team, though I was never part of it myself, worked extremely hard to make fun events for the school as a whole. I felt very comfortable while I was attending. I also thought it was nice that I was able to obtain a really good relationship with a lot of my teachers, which made me feel more comfortable when I needed help or I felt like I had questions. On the opposite side of things, without scheduling multiple appointments with counselors, I did not feel super prepared for the college experience. There were also a couple of times where students were treated unreasonably with the school dress code even though they should not have been. Overall, my high school experience at Boulder Creek was one to remember.
