I was super involved with the music and theatre programs! I found a home of people who supported me tirelessly and gave me endless opportunities that I would not have had anywhere else. The academics were very good! Everyone has their preferences on teacher and teaching style, but there wasn't a single teacher or person on the staff that was disliked.

I would say my overall experience at BHS has been a good one. I will be graduating this year and after three years of attending Bothell High, I would tell many parents that this is a wonderful school for their child. Students of BHS are taught the values of community, respect, and integrity. Teachers are there to help students almost 24/7 and seem to care not only about teaching, but also the students wellbeing. There’s many great opportunities for students with clubs and sports (I personally enjoyed working with the Theatre department and ASL for all my three years at BHS) I cant say our school is perfect and I know that not everyone’s high school experience is the same, but personally, the memories and friends I’ve made at Bothell have shaped me into the person I am today and I feel prepared for the next step of my education.
Bothell High School is a wonderful place that nourishes the emotional and academic development of most students. Although I might gripe about the experience--as teenagers often do reflexively, myself included--I am ultimately very thankful for how Bothell's teachers pushed me to achieve academic excellence, how my peers cheered on my growth, and how the institution itself provided many opportunities to blossom into a young adult (such as with clubs and extracurricular activities).
All said, there are always ways in which Bothell High School could improve too. My main stipulation would be allocating funds more fairly between clubs and activities, such that students of all interest sets and socioeconomic backgrounds can flourish within the high school environment.
