Bothell High School is a good school in a good school district, and I reconize that I am lucky to attend such a school, however, this does not mean there are no improvements to be made. Some students are violent, and many are racist and homophobic. Hearing slurs while walking down the hallways is not a rare occurrence. The teacher are seldom better, many of the male teachers are sexist and make female students like myself uncomfortable, and teachers of any gender at this school are rude and unforgiving with the exception of a compassionate few. Despite these flaws, Bothell High provides a great education and has provided safety to all its students during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Bothell High School isn't something I could really say I 'experienced' yet, because of the coronavirus. However I have come in contact with overall very polite people, providing a great learning environment. I do however, think the academic learning could be better considering the lack of going deeper into specific subjects in Freshmen year. Such as Biology, there are subjects that are vaguely described, and because of this vagueness it creates less awareness. This may be similar to most high schools, so I understand that this school would still be better in other categories than other schools. I enjoy learning so this is rather bias on my opinion. I think this high school deserves respect, it is well community based and has further to explore and build off of for a better school as a whole.
I thought Bothell was a great school. In my experience, I have had excellent and knowledgeable teachers that have only enhanced my learning. The other kids are generally really nice and the atmosphere is really great. Bothell has a great community and overall great school, spirit which makes high school even better. However, I have heard some negative things from other students. Specifically, how certain teachers have acted and said things that they should not be saying. Overall, its a great school, and the best North shore school.
