Borah Senior High School Reviews
Rating 3.89 out of 5 385 reviews
Within the school, there are many very strong and friendly communities which I really appreciate. I like that I can seem to find "my people" everywhere. It is very easy to find kind, helpful peers at Borah. Though, many of the teachers are unkind or unreasonable. I feel I can connect with teachers more easily at other schools. There is also a fair amount of bullying and unkind students, but if reported, the school is very helpful and supportive about it. I like how there are always a lot of activities happening, and I like how the school spirit is fairly strong. The students are very constructive with criticism and support each other. I really like how the schedule is set up, and It puts a good amount of breaks in between classes. I like that we can go off campus for lunch, and there are a few good places to get food when we want to leave during lunch. I like how quickly the counselors respond when we request to see them, and they are very kind and helpful.
I like basically everything about Borah High School! I like the people, I like the teachers, I like the classes, and I like the activities! The only thing I might want to see changed is the addition of more clubs. I felt like I didn't fit very well in any of the clubs they already had, so maybe with more clubs then more students will participate in the school overall.
Overall, I have had a fairly positive experience at Borah High School. It is a fun school and helpful staff and teachers; I feel like it is a well-supported environment. There are many resources for struggling students for mental health or tutoring for difficult classes. But there are also good classes to choose from, from AP classes, concurrent credit, and even weightlifting. Borah is helping get kids to go to college, even if it is a little old, they are always trying their best with the resources they have.
