BRHS has a lot to offer, many different courses including STEM courses. Robotics was my favorite class and I even went to the State competition! There are lots of sports to choose from and other great activities to participate in. Boothbay Harbor is a small town so the teacher to student ratio is small too, which gives you more attention and assistance.

Boothbay Region High School was much like many of your other small town high schools. Everyone knew everybody and would do their own thing. Most teachers reached out to help students pass their classes or excel in them. Due to the low amount of students attending the school after school clubs and activities took a hit since they wouldn't have enough students attending. Safety was not a concern in our school. The food was starting to become more like actual lunches nearing my senior year. Before that it was like your typical school lunch pizza, salad bar, some sandwich, and whatever they were serving that day.
Boothbay Region High School has students from several different areas here in the Boothbay Region & offers an international exchange student opportunity. For such a small area, the High School offers a large variety of choices for classes (75), whether it's different levels of your core courses, 4 foreign languages, STEM programs & electives such as Astronomy & Meteorology which I loved. There are a lot of hands on courses as well, Robotics was one of my favorites & I made it to the State competition. I would change some of the interactions of teachers with students & offering more guidance with making the right choices in life. Teachers have such an influence on kids, even more than their parents sometimes so interaction with them is important.
