The best thing for me about Boone County High School is the strong control of your schedule. Although, the scheduling process can be anxiety inducing and somewhat ruthless. Nonetheless you choose the classes you want as well as backups just in case, so you won't get a class you don't want. The next great thing at BCHS is the staff and how much time, effort, creativity, and thought they put forth to the benefit of their students wellbeing paired with their education. The staff members truly do care and are present everyday to make sure the day goes smoothly.

Boone County High School is a wonderful school that provided me with many opportunities for the future. It has a large amount of various courses and pathways and even more extracurricular activities including sports, drama, art, and volunteer programs. The staff is always helpful and willing to work with you in order to help you get where you want in life. The administrators are passionate about the school and take care of it constantly looking for ways to improve the building. They meet the student's needs and reward them for their accomplishments.
Going into Boone I thought I wouldnt enjoy it beacuse of what other people from other schools were saying, but over the past 4 years I've enjoyed being there. Our arts program is amazing, though sports arent the best (except the bowling and soccer team, theyr'e very good), Arts is where its at. last year our principle Tim Schlopman was able to work some magic and pull togethor money and get the auditorium and new light board in a verry little aamount of time afer the old one broke a week before the musical. At Boone you can really tell the teachers care about you and dont just view you as other student they have to teach. Im glad I got to spend my highschool career at this school, I wouldnt trade it for anything.
