I liked the fact that you got to stay with the same teachers your freshman and sophomore year. It’s great because they figure out how you best learn things and get to know you as a person, instead of just a student. The only downfall was, I felt like we were constantly having teachers leave and getting new ones.
I have been a student at Bonner Springs High School since I was a freshman and I have been in the Bonner school district since I was in preschool. Athletics are a big deal at Bonner because our school isn't very big but whether you play sports here or not, everyone here is on the same "team." I have always felt that our school is very accepting and there is a low percentage of bullying. We are always very filled with school spirit which makes the atmosphere more fun. When the students are asked to do something to better the school, they do it with a smile on their faces. The culture at Bonner Springs High School is very caring and spirited.
