To me Bonnabel is a great high school experience! The environment , diversity, and school spirit is wonderful! But i also believe that bonnabel’s education system could be better. I feel as if we are not getting the things we need to be ready for college ,(only the case with certain classes), I feel like we are behind all other schools. But other than that Bonnabel is a fun place to be and is a great high school experience to me.
Attending Bonnabel for three years was overall a good experience. The staff and teachers was very supportive but as high school experience and helping for college it was not as good. I never took a practice act, and there was not a push to improve act scores with classes. The clubs and activities were amazing ranging from cooking to band even theater.
There are many teachers who truly care about the success and future of the students. You can build strong, personal relationships with many of the teachers here. If I were to change one thing, it would be the college preparation. An overall change in attitude towards this could change the course of many students lives. Counselors should get more involved with the kids instead of relying on the students to come to them. This could also help improve the school spirit for the time we are here at Bonnabel. I love the school and will forever consider myself a Bruin, but I wish we were all more connected.
