Bonanza is a good school, but it has its flaws. One of those flaws being teachers not paying attention to you in class when you need help because they’re too busy being occupied by the childish students so the ones who are there to learn and understand can’t because the teacher is focused on the other students. Also, some teachers don’t help you the way you need help. They expect you to come in before or after school, but sometimes I’m busy and can’t. During class, they spend the whole time teaching and end up not having any or enough time to answer your questions thoroughly or provide you with the help you need.

My experience at Bonanza high school has been pretty good. I like my teachers because they are very helpful in making sure we are passing and most importantly receiving the material. Things I would change about Bonanza would be budgeting and support in the art programs as well as the sport programs. I played volleyball, basketball, and track and field at Bonanza as well as participated in Orchestra and Guitar, and they all could use better funding for materials in the class or afterschool.
Overall some of the teachers actually connect with the students personally, usually the AP teachers and some honors teachers. Which this helps them teach the students more efficiently. Also some of the teachers and principle, Mr. Petrie, actually care about the students safety and always make sure that the students are prepared for college. While this is true, there are majority of the teachers that really don't put in the effort, which no matter how much the students tries or not if the teachers don't try as well, then nobody goes anywhere. I think overall this school has gotten me somewhere and prepared me for college.
