It was a basic highschool experience if I'm honest with you. One thing I can say is that the academics were amazing and we have great teachers! But there is a very big racial issue in this school. Between how staff treat and react to white children versus colored kids in terms of discipline or treatment, to begin with. From multiple times of having white kids call colored kids racial slurs on campus to social media it is very frustrating to see that admin didn't care about us and how we felt about these situations but much rather tell our teachers to "not allow students to speak on recent events". But all together despite typical racism, the sports were amazing too.
Boca Raton Community High School allows students with ambition and drive to enroll in challenging college-level courses to prepare students for the rigor of their classes at their college/universities. Most of the teachers are excellent and prioritize their students education. Furthermore, there is an incredible selection of clubs and sports that appeal to all kinds of students, in addition to their award winning drama department. Additionally, the wide variety of AP and AICE classes available to students is unheard of!
Boca Raton High School has a very welcoming environment! Although, there are a lot of students so class change is a bit overwhelming especially if your classes are on the opposite sides of the school. But, other than that I enjoyed my time at Boca High. The teachers and staff definetly express their want to help you and try there best to help you and make sure that you are successful in life.
