Bob Jones is an amazing place. The teacher and students are friendly and supportive, there are so many class options, and you learn so much! I've had an amazing experience there. I haven't been stressed and I've had so much fun! The teachers do their best to learn about you and help each student individually where they struggle and encourage them where they're strong. Every week, there is a special program where for an hour you get to choose something out of a variety of options to de-stress or catch up or just have fun! The school has something for every student and there are so many opportunities.
Bob Jones provides a unique experience to every individual. In my experience, they are also inclusive and friendly to everyone. Class schedules can be talked through with counselors and classes can easily be adjusted depending on needs. The staff are easy-going and provide students with a stable environment for learning. Bus transportation is provided to any student that needs it at no extra cost. Appointments with counselors and advisors can be made with ease. You are also given a reasonable amount of time to make up work and tests. There's a library full of resources and an online database to find more resources for articles, essays, and more. All in all, this school has so much to offer and should not be passed up.
Honestly Bob Jones is pretty good. I have definitely enjoyed my time here. Most teachers seem to care about you and want to see you succeed. Academics are really good; I have definitely learned a lot. However, there are quite a few things I would change. Administrators never let us do anything fun. We got in trouble for tailgating before football games. Most school spirit days were not allowed, we could only do the really boring and basic ones like neon day or school color day. They also took away teachers selling food. Certain clubs and organizations used to sell homemade cookies or chickfila chicken biscuits once a week. But, for some reason, the school took it away. Do better BJHS.
