BHS went through a lot of experimenting with different teaching methods during my 4 years there. It was a pretty average school with ok food and ok teachers that stayed longer than three years. Education was so-so, the whole "new tech" aspect sucked though. Project based learning sounds like a good idea in theory but its execution and compatibility with the student population showed how much we actually learned from the projects. The one aspect of high school that I did like was the fact that since its in a small town, the community is more tight-knit than one would find in a bigger town/city. The friends that I made were close and help motivated me to do my best in high school and beyond and I am forever greatful to them.

The Blytheville high school new tech is a great school in the Mississippi county. We have a great learning program and we are amazing in our sports. The teachers and staff cares about their BHS students!
We have a large variety of sports, which is very rare around our area. We also offer a large variety of clubs to participate in such as FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), Spanish Club, National High School Honor Society, and much more. Other schools in the surrounding area does not have these clubs.
